What is 40 Takes?

40 Takes is a complete-the-task challenge in which the challenger ('The Stake Taker') attempts to rein victorious within 40 attempts of whatever challenge imposed by the bettor ('The Take Maker').

What is This Blog?

This blog is an archive of all challenges created and their completion status. This blog also will keep score on the outcome of each 40 takes session.

What are the rules of 40 Takes?

These rules are a guideline, wherein fairness and fun must always prevail.

The Take Maker must create each challenge. They can have any level of assistance while doing so. The challenge must be physically possible to complete, the Take Maker should be testing their challenge to make sure it is.

The Stake Taker should have minimal knowledge of the challenge details. They must complete the challenge within 40 attempts.

The two parties must agree on terms prior to the challenge commencing. A third party is recommended (but not required) to join the session, witness the events, and uphold the two parties to these agreed-upon terms.

 At this time, this blog is the only place to get updates. The sessions are not recorded. The challenges are not uploaded.
